Commbox Deal Registration
The Commbox Deal Registration Program enables Partners to formally notify Commbox of sales opportunities they have identified and wish to pursue, either independently or in collaboration with the Commbox sales team.
1. Deal Registration Guidelines
A registered deal is a valid, qualified sales opportunity originating from a Partner and meeting the following criteria:
- The opportunity must originate from the registering Partner, who must be identified in the registration email.
- The Partner must provide contact details of a decision-maker within the Prospect organization.
- The Partner must outline clear, actionable next steps within the opportunity.
- Deal registration applies to specific opportunities within a Prospect. A complete Prospect (e.g., multiple HQs, domains) may not be registered unless there is a defined global sales opportunity.
2. Submission Process
Deal Registration– All deal registrations must be submitted via this page under the terms below.
Acknowledgment
Once submitted, the Partner will receive an email confirmation. Within five (5) business days, Commbox will notify the Partner whether the opportunity has been accepted or rejected.
3. Rejection Criteria
A deal registration may be rejected for reasons including (but not limited to):
- The sales opportunity is already a Commbox customer.
- Commbox is actively engaged with Prospect.
- Another Partner has already registered for the opportunity.
4. Exceptions
Exceptions may be escalated to Commbox executives. The Partner will be notified of a final decision within five (5) business days.
5. Multi-Partner Opportunities
In certain cases, Commbox may support more than one Partner for a single opportunity. Commbox will provide transparency to all involved Partners and will work primarily with the Partner who initially registered the deal. This Partner will be recognized as the Primary Partner for the opportunity.
6. Lead Protection
Once a deal registration is accepted, the Partner receives Lead Protection for 90 days. During this period:
- Commbox will not solicit other Partners for the same deal.
- The Partner must establish and maintain momentum in the opportunity.
- If no conversion occurs within 30 days, Commbox may disqualify the lead.
Momentum Requirement
Momentum is established when a decision-maker from the Prospect participates in a meeting with both the Commbox sales representative and the Partner (onsite or remote).
If momentum is not established within 90 days, Lead Protection is forfeited, and other Partners may register the deal.
7. Partner of Preference
Once momentum is established, the Partner is granted Partner of Preference status for 180 days, gaining preferred customer-facing support from Commbox.
Partner Responsibilities
- Provide monthly status updates to Commbox.
- Failure to provide updates may result in removal of Partner of Preference status.
8. Extensions
Extensions of Lead Protection or Partner of Preference benefits require Commbox approval.
9. Termination of Deal Registration
Commbox may terminate a registered deal for reasons including (but not limited to):
- The Prospect does not attend a Commbox meeting within 90 days.
- The Prospect ceases consideration of Commbox as a solution.
- The deal does not close within 180 days of registration.
- The Prospect chooses to work with another Partner.
10. Eligibility Requirements
Partners must:
- Have a valid Commbox ISV Agreement.
- Have no outstanding account payables in delinquency.
11. RFPs & Tenders
Opportunities related to an RFP or tender qualify for deal registration only if submitted before the RFP/tender is published. Additionally, the Partner must:
- Be directly involved in creating the RFP/tender.
- Have played a key role in positioning Commbox within the opportunity.
12. Opportunity Disqualification
Commbox reserves the right to market and sell to any Prospect for which an opportunity was disqualified or where no meaningful engagement occurred under the guidelines above.
13. Program Changes
Commbox reserves the right to modify the Deal Registration Program with 60-day prior notice.
